The game is a spiritual sequel to A link to the past on the SNES, It will also have some strange, mario feeling tricks up its sleeves!
The game appears to have a MAINLY top down view, but occasional have a more 3rd person approach!
The new game has a paper mario like feature where you merge into walls to complete puzzles, personally I feel like this will suck you out of the zelda feel, but maybe it wont hurt to much and maybe it could be a good thing for the series the wolf never felt like a zelda thing but that ended up fun, eh?

Theres also panels you hit, then you step on and it throws you to a higher ledge, I'm unsure if this feature was in A link to the past but it is on the sequel!
Right now there is a trailer on the 3ds store so you can see the gamplay in 3d for yourself!
