So The kinect and the playstation 4 controller, have some new features, lets think about ways they could be used in interesting ways!
Kinect
Ok, so this hardware has been around for a little while, It has microphones in the camera, and can track your motion, it can also detect your emotions, you should also remember that the kinect can be used with the controler!
What the kinect could do is, it could detect your emotion and if the game is meant to be scary, and you wasn't scared, it could see that and make the game scarier!
Look theres only so many buttons on the controller, so rather then wasting a button on saying "come here" why not say it for your crew to join you, lets take it one step further, if you say "come here" they are more likely to here you but so are the enemy, so instead you wave which means the enemy is less likely to see you, but so are your crew!
Playstation touch pad
It could be used as a track pad, plug in a keyboard and it'll be like a pc game, except not as easy to use!
the touch pad could be used to scroll threw things faster then with a d-pad, it could also be used to zoom in and out, it could be used to view the world threw your characters eyes!
It could be used to easily navigate things, Maps are sometimes hard to navigate with controllers, right analog to move around the map, L2 to zoom out R2 to zoom in, but then oh no you used the left analog stick and now you're on a different map!
The touch pad could be used like the sixaxis was on Ratchet and clank games!
Playstation light plus camera
Ok so them together could be used in interesting ways!

It can be used to aim, you can use it as a torch in horror games, can be used to control your camera in a first person view!

It can be used to change your feelings, colours can change how you feel, many physiological experiments have told us this,
orange can make you feel warm and happy,
Blue can make you feel sad or pure,
Pink and purple could be used to show love and passion,
Red for love, fire etc
the PS controller can light up a little with the light, able to give you these emotions as you play!
