PS4 vs Xbox One: The Hardware: Memory Subsystems

Here is a technology in the systems, please do remember though, that you'll only really see the difference in exclusives, so this won't matter much with games on both systems!

Memory Subsystems

They both have 8GB of Ram, which is more then my computer, which runs with 4GB of Ram!
which is a lot more then in previous generations, which had to do with 512MB!
The memory bandwidth of the Xbox one comes out at 68.3 GB/s
The memory bandwidth of the PS4 comes out at 176.0 GB/s
which would be a sure win for PS4, if microsoft didn't have 32MB of eSRAM!

which gives Microsoft a total of 170.3 GB/s in bandwidth
But Sony still has 176.0 GB/s in bandwidth which means Sony still wins the battle!

Sony's Ram has a little more delay but sends more data, while the Xbox one has less of a delay but sends less data!

But this stuff doesnt even matter if we're talking about the games!
why?
Because Sony's Operating system takes 1GB of RAM
while Microsoft's 3 OS's they use (Game OS, Windows 8 styled OS, and the switcher OS) uses 3GB of RAM!

which means for gaming PS4 has 7GB of GDDR5 RAM
while the XBO has 5GB of DDR3 RAM plus 32MB of eSRAM

For a better and more detailed explanation please watch this video! ^^
