Why we wish we got the BETA game!

So people love to watch Beta gameplay and see what's changed in the older game, lots of things can change and often for the better, so why do we desire to have a play of the Beta version?

So a lot of things can change in the course of creating a game, so so much, and sometimes beta videos get leaked threw, and I love it, I love what games where before I like to see what created them, I like to know what caused the change etc, I just love that idea, but unfortunately we wont ever know the full story!

So you see a few cut scenes, cut levels, things moved around, enemies looking different, and soon enough you're like, gah I want to play the game with these different things, but why?
Its actually quite simple, it never ended up in the game, or it was in a different way, as I said in the first paragraph, I wish I knew what caused the choices but we never will, we want to know what it was like, we want to see how different it is, the end game is probably better (not always we'll come back to that) so why do we want to see a broken game? If you love a game and theres something you haven't seen in the game you want to play it!

Lets think of pokemon Red and Blue for a moment, back in the day there where many rumors, how to get Mew, God pokemon, a garden behind garys house, why do these make us want to explore it? because we love the game so much and we want to witness it all, even if we don't really want a Articzapmewtres we still want to see one and catch one, to experience it!

So basically we just want to have a beta version to experience a different version of a game we love?
exactly, its kinda like a new game you have new things and you have old things in one thing, its like a strange christmas present!
Most changes are to make the game better, removing a area because its tedious, removing an enemy because it doesn't suit the game!

But other times they remove it because of limitations this is where the game could have been much better then it finally was!
one of the best games ever made could have been much better because a lot of things where cut because memory space was lost, the game I'm talking about it The Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time,  which could have been Ura Zelda!

Games get things amazing taken out of them when suddenly dead lines are closing in, there's not enough memory, etc
this is where they cut things that could be great, and this is what hurts the most!
